Hallo Gemeinde: kaum hier schon die erste Frage 😂 ich habe mir bei refurbed o.g. ThinkCentre gekauft und möchte darauf Home Assistance und Paperless-NGX mit Proxmox installieren. Frage: langt die SSD oder soll ich besser eine größere reinbauen? ---

Ich habe zwar noch kein Proxmox (ist bald geplant). Aber ich würde sagen, es kommt drauf an, wie viele Dokumente du speichern willst und was du in Zukunft für Pläne hast. Ich würde dir auf jeden Fall eine größere SSD empfehlen, da man mit Proxmox schnell immer mehr installiert und der Speicherplatz sehr schnell knapp werden kann (Nextcloud, etc). Auch für HA könnte es irgendwann knapp werden, wenn du Langzeitspeicherung,.. machst. Für den Anfang müsste die SSD aber ausreichen. Wenn du in naher Zukunft keine Lust hast, alles auf eine neue Platte umzuziehen, empfehle ich dir ganz klar, eine größere SSD von Anfang an zu nutzen! VG ---

Mache gleich min eine 500GB Platte rein und 32 Gb ram. Irgentwann hast du mehr als 2 vm am laufen. Habe selbst den M720q Gruss ---

Meiner hat : 1 x 2,5-Zoll-Festplatte/SSD 2 TB 1 x M.2 SSD 500 GB 2x 16 GB Ram Ich habe die gleiche Meinung wie @Wolfi ---

Wenn ich mich nicht täusche hat der Lenovo Thinkcentre m700 einen m.2 nvme Anschluss auch noch drin! Kauf dir eine m.2 nvme dazu mit 1TB dann Proxmox auf die SSD 256GB und die Daten dann auch die 1TB m.2 nvme. Dann bist du schon mal auf der sicheren Seite.
